    MBBS (MD) / DENTAL in Georgia

    • Medium of Instruction: Education is provided in English using up to date MBBS (MD) / Dental Medical textbooks, guides, and various audio-visual aids.

    • Eligibility to practise in India: Indian students who passed MBBS (MD) from abroad countries like Russia, China, Philippines, Georgia, Kirgizstan, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Bangladesh & other foreign countries should clear FMGE / NEXT(Foreign Medical Graduate Examination / National Exit Test).
    • FMGE will be replaced by NEXT: The FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduates Examination), will be replaced by the NEXT (National Exit Test). NEXT will also serve as an exit exam for MBBS graduates in India and an entrance test for postgraduate studies in medicine (MD, MS). It is expected to eventually replace the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG).

    General Guidelines

    1. MBBS/MD is always a 6-year-program. Georgia follows the European Union pattern of education; hence, you will require at least 360 credits, which can be accomplished within six years. The university letters always show a 6-year-program for MBBS/MD and for Dental 5 years.

    2. Cost of living in Tbilisi, Georgia comes up to $ 300-400 per month,

    3. Accommodation for girls and boys is separate, also serve Indian meals (Both VEG & NON-VEG) for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
    • 4. Hostel fees should be paid at the beginning of every academic year, directly by the student / Parent.
    • 5. The teacher-to-student ratio is absolutely perfect to provide students with an engaging and effective classroom environment.
    • 6. Crime rates in Georgia are Nil.
    • 7. The fees can be remitted in two installments (Some universities) as per the individual’s pace. Parent/student can pay fees directly to the university account

    Admission Procedure & Process

    1. Candidate should complete 17 years of age at the time of application and should not exceed 25 by the said date.
    2. Documents required
      1. 12th Class Mark sheet (Pass certificate copy)
      2. Passport copy (all pages)
      3. Student/Parent’s details and address proof
      4. E-Mail id of the student
      5. Mobile Number

    3. MBBS/MD & DENTAL in Georgia, here are the steps that you need to follow:
    1. The process of medical education in Georgia generally commences in March & Aug-September.
    2. The seats are allocated to the students based on first come first serve (Subjected to the clearance of online interview). It is wise to apply beforehand in December – January and July – August, for a hassle-free admission.
    3. Application must be submitted to the University along with all supporting documents.
    4. Upon receiving and verifying these documents the university will conduct an interview with the student (normally via, Skype or via Google meet)
    5. After a successful interview, the university will issue a provisional admission letter for the candidate.
    6. After 30 days the accreditation letter will be provided by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. After receiving the accreditation letter from the ministry, the university will issue an invitation letter to the student, along with supporting documents that are required for applying for the Visa.
    7. Apply for a Georgian Visa: Visa approval takes 30 days
    8. Once the procedure is completed, the student / Parent must deposit the fees for the first-year course directly to the University (bank detail will be available in the invitation letter). Upon receiving remittance acknowledgment, travel dates can be scheduled
