Kufri is a small hill station in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh state in India. It is located 20 km from the state capital Shimla on the National Highway No.22. The name Kufri is derived from the word kufr meaning “lake” in the local language. Yadavindra Gardens, also known as Pinjore Gardens, is a historic 17th century garden. It is an example of the Mughal Gardens architectural style.

Shimla: Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts

Satluj River: The Satluj River is the longest of the five rivers that flow through the historic crossroads region of Punjab in northern India and Pakistan. The Sutlej River is also known as Satadru. It is the easternmost tributary of the Indus River. The Bhakra Dam is built around the river Sutlej to provide irrigation and other facilities to the states of Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana.

Parvati River: is a river in the Parvati Valley in Himachal Pradesh, northern India that flows into the Beas River at Bhuntar, some 10 km south of Kullu. It rises from the Man Talai Glacier below the Pin Parbati Pass and flows in a gradual curve from north-northwest to west-southwest past the important temple town of Manikaran.

Kullu Valley: Kullu Valley is a broad open valley in Himachal Pradesh, India, formed by the Beas River between Manali and Larji. This valley is famous for its temples, beauty, and its majestic hills covered with pine and deodar forest and sprawling apple orchards.

Gulaba: Gulaba is a village in the State of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is 27 km away from Manali and 25 km from Rohtang pass. The village is designed and manned as per the guidelines of National Green Tribunal Act. Gulaba has all the relevant equipment and computerized system to ensure good tourism management. As per the order of National Green Tribunal Act, permits are given to up to only 800 petrol vehicles and 400 diesel vehicles to visit Rohtang Pass. The road leading to Rohtang Pass is barred during heavy snowfall season which lasts from November to March. To avoid accidents, Himachal Pradesh Police has set up barriers to guide traffic. This place is considered to be a starting point to Brighu lake trekking.

Marhi: Marhi is a “shanty town of roadside restaurants” in Himachal Pradesh, India, located midway between Manali and Rohtang La on the Manali-Leh Highway. Buses traveling the highway often stop in Marhi so passengers can eat. The settlement is seasonal, with most businesses closing for the winter

Rohtang Pass: Rohtang Pass is a high mountain pass on the eastern end of the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas around 51 km from Manali in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys of Himachal Pradesh, India

It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass, and is known for its summer and winter sports conditions

Atal Tunnel: Atal Tunnel, named after former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee is a highway tunnel built under the Rohtang Pass in the eastern Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas on the National Highway 3 in Himachal Pradesh

Vashist (hot spring water): The hot water springs of Vashisht are a fascinating place to explore, and the crystal clear waters gushing out of this spring provide a suitable niche for taking a ritual bath.. Manu Temple  : According to legend, the temple was built around 400 years ago by a king named Raja Manu after he was visited by the sage Manu in his dream. The temple was later renovated in the 19th century by the Raja of Kullu, who added a new shrine and a distinctive pagoda-style roof to the structure Manu Temple, Hadimba Devi temple & Tibetan Monastery & the evening return to Manali & Night Halt at Manali.

Tibetan Monasteries: Manali has several colorful Tibetan monasteries that represent rich culture and history of the Tibetan people settled in Kullu & Manali of Himachal Pradesh.

Chandigar: Chandigarh, the capital of the northern Indian states of Punjab and Haryana, was designed by the Swiss-French modernist architect, Le Corbusier. Sukhana Lake: Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh, India, is a reservoir at the foothills of the Himalayas. This 3 km² rain fed lake was created in 1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe, a seasonal stream coming down from the Shivalik Hills. Originally, the seasonal flow entered the lake directly, causing heavy siltation
